Brit Noir at its most atmospheric, Lady in the Fog today emerges as the latest brand-new 4K restored Limited Collector’s Edition from Hammer Films. The new edition will release in stores on January 11, 2027 and is available to pre-order now.

Directed by Sam Newfield, one of the most prolific filmmakers in sound film history, Lady in the Fog stars ultra-suave Hollywood veteran Cesar Romero as a charming fogbound writer caught up in an intricate murder mystery. He is joined by pre-Moneypenny Lois Maxwell and Bernadette O’Farrell, with a scene-stealing cameo from The Ladykillers’ Katie Johnson.

Released in celebration of its 75th anniversary, Lady in the Fog makes its debut on UHD and Blu-ray for the first time anywhere in the world and has been meticulously restored in 4K from the original negatives by Hammer and Silver Salt Restoration.

Watch a trailer for the 4K restoration in the player below:

With all flights cancelled due to a thick pea-souper, American writer Philip O’Dell is stranded in a London bar where he meets Heather whose opportunist brother Danny has been run over and killed in the fog. The police think it’s a hit‑and‑run accident, but Heather suspects something far more sinister. She convinces O’Dell to investigate plunging them both into a dark and swirling conspiracy.

Lady in the Fog is released as a 2-disc 4K UHD and Blu-ray set that delivers exceptional clarity, contrast, and sound. It’s a must-have limited collector’s edition for lovers of British noir, fans of classic crime cinema and the golden age of British genre filmmaking.
