India-based Tech Firm Selects Alpharetta as U.S. Base for AI Growth

An India-based software development and cybersecurity firm is deepening its reach into the U.S. market via a new Alpharetta office.

InfoNet, founded in 1996 and based in New Delhi, said the metro Atlanta suburb’s ample tech talent and pool of innovative companies made it an attractive location as the company aims to offer more specialized services to clients, particularly startups, focused increasingly on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

InfoNet plans to hire “industry-leading professionals in the AI and ML space” with expertise in algorithms, natural language processing, computer vision and AI-powered automation at what it’s calling a center of excellence, according to a news release.

“Our success hinges on our people,” said Kapil Manchanda, founder and CEO, in the release.

InfoNet did not disclose how many people it plans to hire locally, though it claims more than 100 team members across offices in Asia, Europe and the United States.
